I always believe that art is about expression, and a part of it is about the artist dissecting oneself to the audience. Hence, I started to explore from within and turned three aspects of my negativities into a synthesized sculpture:
my anxiety about bulimia, my fear of the unknown future, and my positive attitude towards death.
Through this composite sculpture, I hope to arouse some resonance through it:
it is about the pathological kidnapping of women's bodies in Chinese society, the waste of time doing nothing valuable, and the fear of death among people and their families.
ANXIETY OF BULIMIA -the heads
FEAR OF UNKNOWN FUTURE -the heart
DEATH AIN'T A BIG DEAL -the hands
FEAR OF UNKNOWN FUTURE -the heart
DEATH AIN'T A BIG DEAL -the hands
